In Dioubel now

Our team has left bambey and is now in Dioubel. The primary focus is laying ground work for future teams and prayer walking around the villages.

Please pray for their saftey, health, and energy. Also, pray for God's power to be manifested through them as they have opportunity to pray over people and interact with village leaders.

God is at work....

Friday:
85 people at film tonight, mostly kids. Had a great day in the village. 2 believers in village. Husband joined them for dinner. Art told him that he was his african hero. They had to stop the film for another Muslim prayer right by the movie.

Saturday a.m.:
Another woman, chiefs wife, prayed over for malaria healing. Saw her this afternoon and malaria is gone. HEALED. Signs to village and them that He is doing miracles and proving claims that He is God.

God is powerfully at work....

Hundreds more view the Jesus Film today. At least 10 indicated decisions to follow Jesuu (Jesus) - including the brother and mom of a village chief!

In the afternoon a woman with Malaria was prayed for by our team...when she showed up at the showing of the Jesus Film that night, she was healed. Praise God!! This is a good reminder of God's power and the power of prayer. We live in a supernatural world.

Our team is ministering in the shadow of islam and animism. Please pray for God to open hearts and eyes so they will see Jesus clearly.

Please continue to pray for health and saftey for our team--they are eating some pretty 'interesting' food.

Wednesday Update

The group split up into 2 teams to show the Jesus film in different locations. Art was not with the rest of the FBC crew. There were 375 at Art's site, 200 at other site. 1 probable demon possession and 20 came to Jesuu, yes Jesuu! The team apparantly ate some suspect fare at the other location so as not to offend. Let's pray that they will not be affected.

Here is a little description from Art about the area: Goats, cows, chicken, pig and 5 camels. Each ride is bumpier than you can imagine. Off roading through 8ft grass. Like an Animal Kingdom ride on steroids! Huts. Villages. Animal and tree worship mixed with islam.

FBC Jesus Film Trip - Senegal

Hello! From Aug. 31st – Sept. 12th , Fellowship Bible Church is sending a team to participate in a mission trip to the West African country of Senegal with JESUS Film Mission Trips, a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ.

Senegal is a predominantly Muslim country where very few people have heard the gospel. They will have the opportunity to show the JESUS film in urban & rural areas, distribute videos and audiotapes of the film, and share with people personally about the love of God.

We covet your prayers and support of our team. Subscribe to our updates to recieve the latest news and prayer requests.
